A team of mercenaries under the command of hard-charging war veteran Mack (Academy Award® Winner Cuba Gooding Jr.), are contracted by a mysterious CIA operative named Elissa (Valerie Cruz) to rescue a scientist named Wesley (Ron Perlman) working on an archeological discovery deep under the Middle Eastern desert. Mack and his team of fighters (including Franky G., Zack Ward, Jason London, and Stephanie Jacobsen), though still mourning the loss of their former commander and friend (Ray Winstone), eagerly accept the assignment.
